A brief history of 30-32 Dollar St and its recent restoration

One of Cirencester’s most important historic buildings, the former St James’s Place offices,has been rescued from severe decay and dilapidation and meticulously restored to its’ former glory.  Architect for the restoration project, Charles Mullineux, will talk about the process behind the renovation, returning the building back into its original purpose, residential properties.  With many significant original architectural features, Charles will explain the importance of carefully restoring key elements of such an historic building to preserve history and protect it for future generations.
